I've scrapped!!!

I know, I know... hard to believe eh. This is my son with his best buddy.

So it's New Years Eve. Nothing exciting happening here. Zak and I had roast chicken for dinner. Then we went up to a posh part of town to watch the 9pm fireworks.

He's determined to stay up until midnight... we'll see... although he's doing pretty well!

A quick reflection on 2006 - wasn't the best year but certainly wasn't the worst.

• My boy turned 7
  
• Soren and I parted ways - amicably.. I'm glad we've stayed friends.


• My dad *took off* on us again


• Steve broke my farkin heart.. the asshole :p


• I moved house again


• The second part of the year has just gone past in a blur.. I hardly remember anything specifically

Am looking forward to 2007 - a new start!

Looks around... cough cough....

Yes I'm still alive... lol.. just a really bad blogger :p.

Well Christmas has been and gone... again... where is the time going? Hope you all had a fab day! We had a *normal* Christmas here. By normal I mean Zak's dad came over for about 45 mins to open pressies - I think its great he still comes over on Christmas morning :) . Then we went to see my Dad's partner, Leona. She's such a great stepmother... lol.. stepmother.. She asked me what I would like for Christmas, I told her some nail polish might be nice... no joke, she gave me a whole frickin nail salon! Anyone who knows me (Nina and Charmaine) knows I'm not a girly girl - some of the stuff she gave me - I have no idea what to do with. Then we went up to Toowoomba for a lunch with the fam.. this year it was at my sister's Mother in law's house. Was a beautiful lunch. Then Zak and I came home for a quiet night.

I scored a new Bon Jovi DVD.. which I'm stoked about - oh and a Robbie Williams DVD. Not sure about the Robbie DVD.. I'm not a fan - i know... shock horror!!!!! Zak finally got the PSP he's been begging for. I think back to when I was his age - man... kids these days are so lucky eh! But why not splurge on them - you only live once!

Lots of other news - nothing overly exciting.. lol.. no.. the man of my dreams has not yet made his appearance... cough cough.. Thought I just should let you guys know I'm still around - still reading your blogs!

Oh, and Ali - love the way you *found* me! Next time I think I see you I'll say hi! :)
