Back to the Real World

Back to work today for me - after 2 1/2 weeks off. It wasn't as bad as I thought and my motivation level was great all day... a nice change! Found a mistake that was made late last year though - not sure what to do about it yet. Unfortunately its not one of those mistakes that I can just pretend I never saw! Doing my bosses job for two weeks - so getting some more dollars than usual and better still - a car! Woohoo!

Walking up George Street this morning I came to the conclusion that most of the chicks in town got perfume for Christmas. It was like walking through a perfume factory! And here's lil ole me.. with my free sample of Clinique Simply on.. I had a chuckle to myself.

My best friend flew back in from the States yesterday. Is so good to have her home. It's so hard when you are bursting to tell someone something or ask for advice.

Spoke to my *stepmother* today. She's way down in the dumps about my Dad. He's such an ass. Maybe one day he will wake up to himself. I wrote him a letter last night - its one of those letters that I will never post but it made me feel better!

Zak and I agreed its time for him to start getting some pocket money. We are starting off at $5 a week and he wrote a list of jobs down. We've got the list on the fridge. I explained to him that after ten weeks of saving his pocket money we can go and buy a new game for his PSP (if he wants to!!). He seemed really excited about it - hopefully it continues! I love my little man - I've been feeling really clingy with him lately - I just want him to slow down and stop growing up so quickly :( .

And finally, I scrapped again - I love clean and simple... This is my sister - the photo was taken about 17 years ago... holy crap :(( where is the time going?
