It's official... I'm the worlds worst blogger!
I have every good intention of updating but just seem to find something else to do.
News news news..
We're moving! All very sudden actually - I expected us to be here for quite some time. This is Jason's first home (of his very own) and it has sentimental value to him which I respected. But one day out of the blue he declares he's been looking around on realestate.com and has found a couple for us to look at! So long story short, we've found a great place.. much bigger than this one - four bedrooms and the double lock up garage has been converted into a rumpus room. It's fully ducted airconditioned... in a culde-sac.. lowset.. I'm stoked. I may find it easier to do some scrapping now. Where we are here, everthing is downstairs (external stairs) and I find it really hard to just do bits and pieces every now and then. At least with a lowset place I can duck into the rumpus room and play! Sounds good in theory I suppose ;) . We had to make a few sacrifices with the new place - no lock up car accomodation. But thats ok. We're putting in a titan (insert manly grunt here) out the back so Jason can lock up the boat and have a workshop (more manly grunts). The yard isn't as big as we have here. But I can't wait. Settlement is 31 March so we'll be moving that date as well. Everything has gone through unconditional. We were very fortunate to list this place and have a contract on it two days later. Mind you - lots of blood sweat and tears have gone into it to get it to where it is now.
We are settling in really well with our new little munchkin. Zak is adjusting well to being a big brother. He's a student councillor this year at school which has really surprised me - I'm very proud. He's already lost his badge (insert eye roll here) so I've got to see if I can get a replacement. I'm loving being at home to take him to school and pick him up. It's going to be really hard when I have to go back to work. He's got his second Twae Kwon Do grading tomorrow. He really seems to be loving it.
Speaking of work, I can't wait to see the results of the election tomorrow. It may have some impact on my job. I won't be out of work, but the work I do is very close to the Minister's office so I'm hoping if we have a change of government I can stay in the area I've been in. I love the work. Yes Nina, I said that... I LOVE the work :p .
Robbie is 8 weeks tomorrow. He's doing really well. Although the last couple of days he seems to have done nothing but sleep, feed, poo and burp! Me being me, I'm stressing a little but when he's awake he's super happy and feeding well so I just need to relax a bit. But last night he slept 10 frickin hours straight!
Anyway, I best get on with the packing. Now that I've put Robbie's sleep patterns out for the world to see he'll probably have a change of mind and start waking up hourly!
Have to attach some piccies here.. we're getting lots of smiles now!
First feed from Dad. I've started expressing every now and then so Jason can share the feeding.

My big boy on his 10th birthday earlier this month. His choice for afternoon tea (just him and I) was Michells... pie and iced chocolate - what a combination!
