About Me

My photo
Bon Jovi rocks my world. So do the two little men in my life, Zak (13) and Robert (3). I love scrapbooking and cross stitch and, in a past life, ballroom dancing.

*Groan*... he's growing up

I love looking through the big boy's school books when he brings them home.. makes me realise how much he is growing up though.

I found some "artwork" inside the front cover of one of them tonight. Was going to post a photo here but then realised it might offend someone. He drew the picture and then scribbled over the top of it. I took a pic and sent it to one of my friends and she suggested maybe its a "rocketship in a bad storm"... lol.. ah the joy of boys!

Haven't done any stitching this week. Having a little break before I get back into it.

Work has been quite bearable over the last week or so. Really hoping it stays that way. I've got a couple of days off coming up. Can't wait. Need to go up to Toowoomba and see my Grandpa on Friday as he is really not well. Will call in and see my mum on my way home from Grandpa's. She has started her chemo and her hair has started to fall out again. Then after Easter we are off to spend Anzac Day with Jason's Grandad in Ballina.

Now off to catch up on some blog surfing!

I have two boys myself who are now 16 and 13 (nearly 14 Mum!!!) so I can relate....if you get a chance watch an English show called "The In-Betweeners" - extremely funny (at times tears rolled down my face) but prudes need not apply....basically about what teenage boys think about most of the time....I have started looking at my boys a little differently (I suppose I always knew, but didn't really want to think about it) - but I would have 10 boys instead of one boy....boys are (generally) lovely!!!!

Same here Shelley and Mrs Dibble, I've got two boys also who are 22 and 20 and how I miss the times when they are so little. I wanted to turn back the time and hear those giggles and laughters, the fights, LOL, and the naughtiness... and to me, no matter how old they are, they will always be my little boys :-D
