Another weekend bites the dust

The weekends seem to fly by so quickly. Always on such a high on Friday as you leave work. Then all of a sudden its time to do it again.


Things are not rosy in my workplace at the moment. There is a lot of uncertainty. Very low morale. I have some very good work friends who are really suffering at the moment. I hope we all come out of it soon. And that some decisions are made. Soon. So that we can all get on with our lives.


Things have not been rosy in my personal life for some time now either. I'm done with pretending. My partner and I have called it quits. Its as amicable as it can be. Our house will go on the market very soon. And very soon I'll have to face the reality of sharing custody of my littlest man. Not something I'm looking forward to.


And strike three - my mother has now been told that her cancer is terminal. They can't give her a timeframe though. So she's in limbo. 


But... it was a beautiful day today. We really are lucky in my part of the world with our weather. So I soaked up some sun and forgot about my dramas for a couple of hours :)
