My mother and her partner decided to buy a new couch. They were trying to sell their old one but weren't getting any takers so offered to give it to us. Not that we needed it. But I was a huge fan of the couch so we took it anyway. We decided to replace the current couch in what we refer to as "the kids loungeroom". We are really lucky with this house and the reason we bought it was because it is so roomy and we have the luxury of having more than one living space. Anyway, the couch I had in this room was one that my father had brought for me about 10 years ago. Horrid colours but I've got a sentimental attachment to it. We're not sure what we're going to do with it yet, maybe use it in our "hobby room". Being a scrapbooker I couldn't resist taking some before and after shots. Don't mind the mess - I live in a house full of boys. I dream of that day where I can have a house with matchy matchy furniture and nice fluffy rugs lol.. So.. the before shot
And.. the after shot..
And I had the camera out earlier trying to get some nice shots of this cheeky monkey. We are going through the fun and games of toilet training.. there are some hilarious shots that are obviously not appropriate for the world wide web, but will however be brought out at various celebrations throughout his life, 18th, 21st, etc etc.. hehehe..
Lots of attitude this young man of mine has.
Big boy is at his dads this weekend. I always miss him when he goes away.
xx

ABC of Robbielicious!
So my littlest man turned two on Monday. I wanted to write a few words to sum him up at this age. Just couldn't do it. So I've done an ABC!
A - Awesomely awesome!
B - Bar - as in muesli bar. Usually the first thing he asks for when he gets out of bed!
C - Cuddles. Daddy cuddles, Mummy cuddles, Zakky cuddles. Love it when he says this!
D - Destructor - say no more!
E - Energy - so much energy.. so little time
F - Funny bunny.. one of (about 100) my nicknames for him
G - Giggles. Lots of.
H - Hats. An obsession with hats. Daddy's hats, his own hats, Zakky's hats, Zakky's helmet etc etc
I - Into everything. Nothing is safe.
J - Jovi - he knows his mummy has an obsession with all things Jovi.. pity its usually followed closely by *sux* courtesy of his dad.
K - Kisses - also known as Mwahs
L - Loved - more than he will probably ever know!
M - Mags - our dog - he loves Mags
N - Nappies - hopefully not for much longer.
O - Outside. His favouritist place to be.
P - Parrot. He repeats EVERY thing we say!
Q - Quiet - pfft.. never!
R - Robert Edward Tate. His great-grandfather and namesake.
S - Santa. We got him a santa toy before Christmas last year. He carts it everywhere. Takes Santa to sleep with him every night!
T - Towely. Another bed time companion and general companion when he has the poos with something. He sucks the corners of his towels. They're manky. Thankfully he doesn't want one particular towel (any will do) and I can wash them regularly.
U - Up too early in the mornings! Especially on weekends!
V - Very bad temper. I know - not really a V word - but had to use the word temper in here somewhere!
W - Words. Lots of new words.
X - XYZ. The nickname my grandma gave to my sister when she was being naughty. I've pulled it out a few times for this little man when no other words can describe.
Y - Yes. Followed by a nod when I ask him if he's my little baby. *melt*
Z - Zakky gone Dylans.. repeatedly.. every time his big brother leaves the house its "zakky gone dylans"
