Stitchy update

Quick update on my stitchy works in progress. Both are Lizzie Kate designs (love, love, love!!).


The first is Cat Lessons for People. Really liking how this is coming along..

I made a start on the 12 Blessings of Christmas piece after my fabric finally arrived on Friday. Can't wait to have this one finished and all framed up (hopefully in time for Christmas - this year - in case you're wondering). I'm taking part in the stitch-a-long on the Lizzie Kate Lovers blog.

Stitchy update

My mother gave me some dollars for my birthday so I went to Spotlight yesterday and came home with this.

I plan to turn it into this (except mine won't be on pink aida):

I purchased this chart from Wee Little Stitches a few months ago. One of my all time favourite movies. This is my progress so far. Yep - heaps to go lol.

I've also made some progress on my Lizzie Kate (Cat Lessons for People). It's coming along great. Only problem is, this is the first piece I've stitched on linen and I have found a mistake in the orange box. I haven't decided if I'm going to pull it out and re-stitch that part yet. But of course, its the first place my eyes go to now.

I've had an incredibly lazy day today. I feel guilty.. eeek. Still trying to shake this rotten head cold though. Blah.

July TUSAL

Again, I'm a bit late this month. But shock horror I have actually added to my "glass" this month! See that tiny bit of brown ORT next to the glass.. LOL. I spent a wee bit of time on my Lizzie Kate on Friday night. But the movie I was watching got the better of me.

And I'm still getting that annoying smudge on my photos. I must clean my camera lense.

Here's a progress shot of the Lizzie Kate. I've joined in a SAL on the Lizzie Kate Lovers Blog so I'm hoping that will kick my stitchy mojo along. I'm going to do the 12 blessings of Christmas charts, but do you think I can find the charts in Australia? Google is NOT my friend at the moment. I've sent a couple of emails off to Aussie LK stockists so hopefully I can track them down soon. Anyway, my progress on Cat Lessons for People.

Excuse the shadows - its a gorgeous sunny day here in Brisbane and I took it outside to photograph.

Anyway, better run. Hopefully I'll be back later with a bigger post. Two weeks of holidays have passed - two left!
