I'm tired....
It's only Tuesday morning and I'm tired...I've still got 4 sleeps to go until I can sleep in again.
Had the best weekend up at Mapleton. Lovely weather and the spot we stayed was so quiet. Food was great (and it seemed never ending!). The girls we were with were a crack up! Lots of laughs. It was actually a Creative Memories retreat so I was a bit nervous that Charmaine and I would be blackballed - but no - it was all good. Was still a bit nervous when I went to punch a hole in the page though :-S.
All good on the IHS front. I caved last Wednesday but the response I got really shit me off - so I guess thats a good thing! Sent a quick email off to his Dad last night and got a nice reply.
Not much planned for this week - Little Athletics sign on tomorrow night. Joy o joy. Little Athletics is really hard work. At least at soccer we could stand on the sideline and cheer the kids on - but at Little Athletics we have to organise, measure, keep score. Which I guess on here doesn't sound too high maintenance does it? Maybe I'm just being a whingy whiny mum. But after a day at work the last thing I feel like doing is wandering around an oval with 12 feral 7 year old boys! But, Zak loves it and thats all that matters really.
New lease starts this Thursday. I'm not moving for a couple of weeks (which is a good thing cause I have done absolutely zero packing!).
Work is really quiet at the moment, given we are in caretaker. I know this is going to sound odd and nerdy.. but I can't wait for the election! Hopefully there will be a few changes to really change the dynamic in Parliament and shake things up a little. Make the ALP work for us instead of us continuing to receive the same shit filled stories every day. I guess because of my job I'm exposed to the shit in a different way others are - not that I'm complaining - I love it! Nina, are you reading this? :p Can't wait to see the result in Chatsworth - a really interesting seat this time around.

I really miss politics & elections...not, at all!! Although I have been putting my calm phone voice into action when Hamish is chucking a tantrum!
Glad you had a great time at the retreat - the layouts look really nice - who is the kid in the top one?
