Okay - so I had typed a heap of stuff here and then I pressed delete instead of changing the font colour. DOH!
People are slowly starting to return to their homes (or whats left of them) here in Queensland to begin the job of salvaging whats left, picking up and starting over. I can't imagine the stench of the mud/silt and how devastating it would be sifting through their muddied belongings. I keep tearing up when I see the heartwarming stories of so many people getting in to lend a hand. We really do live in an awesome part of the world.
I've spent the day in front of the computer finalising briefings for work. Keep bitching and moaning to myself while I'm doing it and then reminding myself that its what I'm paid for and so many people have it much much worse than me.
Have made some good progress on Lest we Forget over the past few days. Not sure if you can see much of the pale yellow underneath the black. Believe me, its there.. Hopefully I'm on track for my Anzac Day deadline.
And just to prove (to myself) that I've made a start on my 52 weeks of me album, here's me being a dork with the notebook I've decided to use. Bahahaha... nothing in it yet of course.. but at least I have the book right? It's a start. Thats my story and I'm sticking to it.
Dorkus maximus right?
Yesterday my two treasures were bonding over the Xbox... Zak was teaching Robbie how to play.. So cute! I just noticed that piece of ORT above Robbie's head LOL.. must check if its still there for my TUSAL jar!
Bed time. I'm out.
xx
