Slothy

Well I got my wish for my slothy Wednesday! I managed a bit of a nap this morning after the kids had gone. Snuck out to pick up some Macca's and of course my work phone rang while I was in the drive through. LOL.. so glad I took the bloody thing with me.

So in between a few work calls, some napping and general slothiness I did a fair chunk of work on Lest we Forget. The end is getting closer!

A few posts ago I mentioned my stepdaughter who is causing us a bit of worry at the moment. I think its all going to come to a head soon. A couple of nights ago her Facebook status was absolutely gobsmackingly disgusting. It was along the lines of "so scared, need to get out of the house, don't touch me you *insert c word here*". I'm like what the?? I told Jason to call her (he has stopped looking at her FB statuses). He couldn't get on to her so he spoke to her stepdad. All sorted out but geeez.. Then tonight she sends me an SMS saying that she's seriously thinking about coming to live here. So I called her adn told her that she is always welcome to stay here but that if she does decide to come and live here then she is going to have to agree to our rules. Which seem quite strict in comparison to what she is used to. And I told her that we love her but she needs to make more of an effort with her Dad. In saying that though I'm also frustrated with her dad. I think sometimes he forgets that he is the adult. Say no more :p Time will tell. I hope she makes it through these horrible teenage years ok.

Anyhoo.. its been an awesome day off work. My perfect day off really. And the headache racked off for the day - gotta be happy with that.
