Urgh... google tells me its 89% humidity here in Brisbane at the moment. I don't doubt it. Its absolutely disgusting. I left work and walked out into the street and just about passed out lol. Ickky

One month of 2011 goneski already! Whats going on?

A cyclone. Thats whats going on now. I really hope my fellow Queenslanders in the northern part of our state stay safe. Its scary. Super scary. Was reading a bit about it on our newspaper online today. I know the media often beat up stories. But seriously, people were commenting that its all scare mongering bla bla bla... How can they say that? Imagine if no one said anything. Oh by the way people, there might be some wind tomorrow. Can't win no matter what you do!

Shocking day at work.

Oh an my mother recieved the "charming" little keepsake I made for her and as I expected when she called she did that old lady cackle that she's always done! She has had her first week of radium on one of her hips. She is booked in for surgery tomorrow to have pins inserted. I think it is a preventative measure because her bones are brittle from when she had the chemo for breast cancer all those years ago. Once she has healed she'll have another week of radium on the other hip and then a short break before she has chemo again. Sounds daunting.

My first photo for February. A friend of mine sent me a desk calender as a secret santa pressie. Love it. So hard to resist turning over pages before the actual date. I just love the enty for last weekend. Sums me up perfectly. Especially after the day I've had!

Think I'll be in bedskis early tonight. Yawn.
